About
Afrim Gjonbalaj is an Actor, Martial Artist, and Writer of Albanian descent, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.
Afrim received his B.A. in Theater with a concentration in Acting from Buffalo State University as a member of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). He is currently working toward his MFA at the David Lynch Screenwriting program at Maharishi International University.
Afrim has completed training at the L.A. Stunts Training Center and is also a 2nd degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
His comic book The Legend of the Night Owl was featured at the Bullet Proof Comics booth at New York Comic Con 2022 and continues to excite the indie comics landscape.
Afrim is the host of The Artists Dojo podcast.
